    Lake Nakuru National Park

A Rhino Sanctuary and and home to the many wild-game like the Lion, Waterbucks, Buffalo etc, and is one of the rare  places where you can spot Rothschild's giraffes.Rhinos are a common sight as well as Flamingos, baboons and leopards, its Birders paradise, the views are spectacular , The world renowned ornithologist Roger Tory Peterson once defined it as "the greatest bird spectacle on earth”. also referred as the Pink Lake for its great masses of pink flamingos. The Park has more than 56 species of mammals, picturesque  Baboon Cliffs as well as numerous waterfalls throughout.

DAY1, We left from Merica hotel located in the heart of Nakuru ,just four kilometers down Nakuru Town,to the lake's main entrance ,thousands of yellow barked acacia interspersed with grasslands.fantastic view to this unique game-viewing venue, with 188 square kilometers of land and  great ecological diversity - from lake water, woodland, bush grassland, to rocky ridges.

we begin with Baboon Cliff the best vantage point to track the lake shore and watch huge flocks of fish eating pelicans ,We had a great one night stay here At sarova lion hill,Food was excellent and the range was amazing. Staff were helpful and friendly. The view from the patio to the lake was so peaceful, If you were in the park, this is one place you should never miss
    Best of home!

Day2 we were lucky enough to see black and white rhinos! We rolled slowly  on to the track in search of more animals. Every now and then great big pelicans soared above our head towards the lake, but the most fab sight i came across was this rhino and its tiny kid
    Baby Rhinoceros!

We spotted a family of zebras on the way out; loads of them in and amongst the acacia trees.

Lake Nakuru is one of the world's premier wildlife destinations.
Amazing trip you ought to be here someday!
